Moviedle is a type of puzzle game originating from the famous Wordle game. However, instead of guessing normal English words, Moviedle involves players figuring out the movie rapidly shown on their device's screen. The video is compressed to play in one second, so you literally watch a slideshow of pictures from the movie at ultra-high speed.
You have six chances to guess the right movie before the game ends. Since there is only one Moviedle game daily, you must wait until the next day for a new Moviedle game.
Moviedle is a player-friendly game with simple graphics and playing methods. You can guess the potential movie by typing its name in the bar below the screen showing the slideshow.
Language won’t be a barrier between players and the game because the list of matching movie titles will drop when you start typing the first letter. Therefore, you don’t need to remember the whole movie’s names to guess.
Once you finish making your guess, press “Enter” to submit it. The system will automatically respond whether you pick the correct answer or not. If you make a wrong guess, the game will add one more second to the slideshow duration for you to have a more thorough observation.
Or, you don’t need to make any guesses until you figure out a possible answer. Press the “Skip (+1s)” to lengthen the slideshow. However, you can’t use the “Skip” function or make a guess more than six times in a game. You must find the answer before completing six tries to win the Moviedle game.
Although Moviedle allows players to take only one game daily, you can still enjoy multiple games by playing the previous rounds.
Clicking the calendar icon at the top right corner of the screen, a table of previous matches will appear in the form of a calendar. You can decide whatever game you want just by clicking the date.
