Birdie

About Birdie

Typically, you always see the guessing gameplay applied to a word game or any logical game but not to a game about bird species. However, Birdie has changed the conception of making a game about nature excitingly.

In this game, players will have to figure out the name of an indigenous bird species in North America within 6 guesses. You will make your guess from the hidden photos of the bird without any clue given. For this reason, you must have an excellent knowledge of the North American birds to win the game.

How To Play The Birdie Game?

Firstly, the game will start with a corner of the image of the bird but not the entire image. Since the first revealed image may be about the surrounding environment, you can’t immediately jump into the exact guess within the first try.

To make your guess, you will type the bird species’s name into the “Pick a bird” box and press Enter to submit your guess. You will have six times to figure out the correct species. After you type some letters in the guessed species’s name, the system will give you a drop-down list of relevant names. For this reason, you don’t have to remember the whole name to submit your guess.

After each wrong guess, a different corner of the image will be displayed to replace the previous one. If you can’t figure out the exact bird species, you can finally see the whole picture and know the bird’s name given by the game.

In particular, Birdie allows you to search for almost all the information about the solution species at the end of the game. You will be taken to a website specializing in bird species just by clicking the underlined bird name.
