How To Play Four Word Grid

In the beginning, the game gives players a 4x4 grid, and all tiles are filled with letters. Your job is to arrange those tiles to form 4 valid English words in 15 swaps. You can swap two random spots in the grid, whether they are adjacent or not. Each row and its corresponding column will form the same word.

But before swapping any tiles, consider the color hints provided by the game to make more strategic moves:

  • Gray indicates the letter is placed in the wrong row.
  • Green means the letter is in the right place. Don’t move it.
  • Yellow refers to letters that are in the correct row but in the wrong column. Try swapping it to other spots in that row.
  • Below the grid is a candy bar, with 15 candies equivalent to 15 moves. Solve the grid before running out of candies!

The game also adds another layer of excitement by setting a timer and giving you bonus candies based on your performance:

  • For every swap left in each game, you will receive one more candy (meaning one more move) in the next puzzle.
  • You’ll get two bonus candies if you complete the game in less than 45 seconds.
  • If it takes you less than 90 seconds to solve all four words, you will be rewarded with one candy in the next game.
  • Game Modes In Four Word Grid

You will never get bored with Four Word Grid thanks to its diverse game modes:

  • Daily 4-word grid: You can play one game daily. It features a 4x4 grid and requires you to form 4 valid words.
  • Weekly 5-word grid: A new game will be released every week. Each will have a 5x5 grid, meaning you have to find 5 valid words.
  • Practice grid: There are 5 grids available for practice. You can practice daily to improve your skills.
  • Ultra-hard mode: No colored clues are given from the beginning. Instead, you have 25 swaps to solve the grid.
  • Besides, you can turn on the timer to get bonus candies (as mentioned above) or turn it off to reduce the pressure.
