Mastermindle

What Is Mastermindle?

Mastermindle is a fusion of “mastermind” and “Wordle,” so it is a word-guessing game that is meant for masterminds or those who want to master this game genre. But don’t let the name hold you back from solving its puzzles.

The difficulty level is not that challenging. In particular, you will have up to 20 guesses to figure out the secret word. Ready to conquer the challenges? Let’s see how to play the game!

How To Play Mastermindle?

Like the Wordle game, Mastermindle requires you to find a 5-letter English word. However, in this variant, you will have 20 tries instead of just 6 chances.

To submit your guess, you can type in directly from your keyboard or click on the virtual keyboard on the screen. Then, hit Enter. If you aren’t satisfied with the answer, press Delete to erase it and enter a new guess. Remember that it must be a valid 5-letter word.

After submitting your answer, the system will give you some colored hints. Look at the bars on the right side of each row, and you’ll see the clues:

  • If a bar turns green, it means the letter in the corresponding position is correctly placed.
  • When a bar switches to yellow, the character in the corresponding position is included in the solution word but is misplaced.
  • If a bar becomes gray, the corresponding letter in your answer doesn’t belong to the secret word. Don’t reuse these letters in your next guess.
  • Utilize the clues and keep guessing until you solve the puzzle. You only have one puzzle each day, so think carefully.

    Tips For Playing Mastermindle

Want to master the game with as few tries as possible? Below are some tricks to keep in mind:

  • Make sure your answer contains green letters in their right spots. Take notes of gray letters to eliminate them in your next guess. Jot down yellow characters and try forming possible words from those letters.
  • Sacrifice the first few guesses to get some hints. Then, you can search on Google. For example, if the “C” and “R” in your guess turn yellow, you can search “5-letter words that contain C and R,” and Google will suggest a list of possible words.
  • You can track your progress by checking the statistics, such as total tries, success rate, winning streak, and best streak. These figures will encourage you to perform better!
