What Is Solvle?

If you want to evaluate your performance in Wordle, Solvle will give you a helping hand! This tool will assess your guess in the puzzle game, giving you more confidence to solve the puzzle. Even better, Solvle can give feedback on your result after finishing a game, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and encouraging you to perform better.

The best part is yet to come! Players can challenge Solvle by giving the system a solution word, and the game will guess it using its configuration. Amazing, right?

How To Play Solvle?

To enjoy Solvle to the fullest, you should understand the interface in the game first:

  • A list of in-game functions is located at the top of the grid.
  • On the left side is a 5x6 grid like in Wordle, where you will fill in possible words.
  • On the right side, there is a list of viable words that you can use in the game. The Pick icon enables you to select words to fill in the grid. The Fish icon allows you to seek new letters without using the existing ones. The Cut icon helps you narrow down the remaining words as much as possible.
  • A virtual keyboard is placed at the bottom of the grid. Each letter comes with a number underneath, indicating the number of words that contain it in the list.

    • Now, let’s see how to play with Solvle:

  • To enter a word into the grid, you can choose a word on the list on the right side, click on the keyboard on the screen, or type in directly from your device’s keyboard.
  • Tap Enter to submit the words or Delete to erase it.
  • To change the color of a letter, just click on its tile to turn it gray (not appear in the list), yellow (misplaced), or green (correctly placed).
  • If you’ve typed in a word manually, hit Enter to continue with the next row.
  • Select the Exclude All function to reload the word list.
  • Choose Solve Word to challenge the game. You will enter the secret word and set up the configuration. Then, Solvle has to find that solution word. You can provide the starting word to increase the difficulty.
  • Click on the Set Solution feature and enter the solution word to input colors automatically. If this function is enabled, Solvle will color the tiles automatically based on the words you typed. Clear the secret word to disable this function.
  • You can evaluate your performance in Wordle using the Rate My Game feature. Simply enter today’s solution word and your guesses, and Solvle will assess how well you played.
